Our ‘Outstanding Natural Spirits’ are inspiring our Head of Mixology - Oliver Morris, to create some amazing new cocktails and reinvent some of the classics too. So pick up a bottle, get ready with your muddler and let Ollie guide you through the world of Cotswolds Distillery cocktails.



TELLING THE BEES

A fruity cocktail with the aroma and flavour of honey; the mead & citrus notes balance the sweetness, with the gin adding botanical complexity.

INGREDIENTS
  • 50ml Cotswolds Dry Gin
  • 18ml traditional mead
  • 25ml orange juice
  • 25ml apple juice
  • 12.5ml lime juice
  • 1 bar spoon of honey
HOW TO CREATE

Mix the gin and honey in a shaker until the honey dissolves, add other ingredients, shake over ice & fine strain into a chilled martini glass.

MAKE THIS COCKTAIL WITH

COTSWOLDS BLOSSOMS

An aromatic cocktail, delicate and dry. The tartness of the grapefruit enhances the citrus elements of the gin, finishing with a floral note.

INGREDIENTS
  • 50ml Cotswolds Dry Gin
  • 15ml elderflower liqueur
  • 15ml Lillet Blanc
  • 25ml grapefruit juice
  • 5ml rose water
HOW TO CREATE

Shake all ingredients over ice, fine strain & serve into a chilled martini glass.

MAKE THIS COCKTAIL WITH

LAVENDER FIELDS

Subtly sweet, lavender flavoured cocktail. Martini-style dryness up front, with a herby, aromatic finish.

INGREDIENTS
  • 65ml Cotswolds Dry Gin
  • 18ml dry vermouth
  • 8ml lavender syrup
  • 2 drops of lavender bitters
HOW TO CREATE

Shake all ingredients over ice, fine strain & serve into a chilled martini glass.

MAKE THIS COCKTAIL WITH

FRANCHINO’S NEGRONI

Named after our head distiller, Nickolas Franchino. This namesake cocktail is bitter sweet, full of Italian spirit, and rather refreshing.

INGREDIENTS
  • 25ml Cotswolds Dry Gin
  • 25ml Campari
  • 25ml grapefruit juice
  • 8ml sugar syrup
  • 2 drops of grapefruit bitters
  • Top up with Indian tonic water
HOW TO CREATE

Place first 5 ingredients into an ice-filled shaker, shake and strain over ice in a hi ball glass, top up with tonic & serve.

MAKE THIS COCKTAIL WITH

COTSWOLDS GIN SOUR

A variation on the classic. Silky smooth, with fresh citrus to balance the complexity of the gin.

INGREDIENTS
  • 50ml Cotswolds Dry Gin
  • 25ml Lime juice
  • 12.5ml Sugar syrup
  • ½ egg white (optional)
  • 2 dashes of aromatic bitters (such as Angostura)
HOW TO CREATE

Place all ingredients into an ice-filled shaker, shake and serve over ice in an Old Fashioned glass.

MAKE THIS COCKTAIL WITH

G, TEA & T

Light and refreshing tea-based cocktail. Deliciously floral with a sweet finish. We made our own tea from linden leaves, but any light fruit tea would work here.

INGREDIENTS
  • 50ml Cotswolds Dry Gin
  • 25ml elderflower liqueur
  • 30ml cold linden blossom tea (or a fruit tea)
  • 12ml lime juice
  • 8ml sugar syrup
  • Top up with Indian tonic water
HOW TO CREATE

Place first 5 ingredients into an ice-filled shaker, shake and strain over ice in a hi ball glass, top up with tonic & serve.
