1616 WINTER FIZZ
A delicious and sophisticated Champagne cocktail. All the festive flavours of a hot toddy, combined with crisp Champagne.
- 20ml 1616 Barrel Aged Gin
- 20ml fresh orange juice
- Bar spoon of honey
- Bar spoon of marmalade
- Dash of Orange Bitters
- 1 clove
- Top up with champagne
Muddle clove in Boston tin, add other ingredients with ice, shake and fine strain into a champagne flute and top up with champagne. Gently stir and serve.
A twist of Orange peel
SPICED PEAR MARTINI
A heady winter mix; sweet spiced pear up front and a warming botanical gin finish.
- 50ml Cotswolds Dry Gin
- 12ml pear liqueur
- 25ml pear puree
- 8ml spiced sugar syrup
- 8ml lime juice
Place all the ingredients into an ice filled shaker, shake and fine strain into a chilled Martini glass.
The selection of berries in the Cotswolds Distillery Hedgerow Gin marry with the apple juice and the slight sourness of the cranberry. Fresh icy berries up front, finished with a warm fruitiness. A treat for those long dark nights!
The complex structure of the 1616, with a taste likened to liquid hot cross buns, infuses with the spices to create a warming winter delight.
- 50ml Cotswolds 1616 Barrel Aged Gin
- Bar spoon of honey
- 20ml lemon juice
- 2 slices of fresh lemon
- Top up with hot water
Stud the rind of the lemon slices with the cloves. Combine all ingredients in a heat-proof glass. Top up with hot water and stir until the honey has melted and the spices have infused.
A VERY MERRY BERRY
Full of flavours from the hedgerow, which dance on the bubbles of the Champagne. This Champagne cocktail is the perfect accompaniment to any special celebration.
- 25ml Cotswolds Distillery Hedgerow Gin
- 15ml fresh cranberry juice
Pour measures of Hedgerow Gin and cranberry juice into a Champagne flute and top up with Champagne, gently stir and serve.
