Temporary Accounts Assistant

Job Type: Full-time - Monday to Friday (8.30am – 5.30pm)

We are recruiting for a temporary Accounts Assistant to join our expanding business for a period of six months. We are situated in a rural location between Banbury and Stratford upon Avon so your own transport would be essential.

Duties:
Bank and supplier statement reconciliations
Processing payment runs
Processing purchase ledger invoices
Processing staff expense claims and credit cards
Reconciling and importing cash till daily takings
Assisting with month end process
Additional Ad-hoc Duties

The successful candidate will have:
Ability to work as part of a team
Be ambitious and eager to grow at the same pace as the business
Good Excel skills. Sage 50 accounts experience desirable
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

Part time Sales Assistant/Tour guide

Job Type: 3 days per week including weekends every other week (9am - 5.30pm)

The Cotswold Distilling Company Ltd offers a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving craft distillery which is quickly establishing itself as one of the finest examples of craft distilling in the UK since opening in 2014.

As the first point of contact within the company on many occasions, it is important that you are warm, friendly, confident with a positive outlook and a great ambassador for the distillery.

Responsibilities would include greeting and serving customers, conducting tours of the distillery, providing samplings and taking transactions in the shop. Full training will be provided.

Warehouse Operative

Job Type: Full-time - Monday to Friday (8.30am – 5.30pm)

Duties & Responsibilities:
Safely operate fork lift trucks to load/unload deliveries and collections, and to provide materials to production.
Check and verify incoming and outgoing goods.
Count inventory with excellent accuracy and work with accounts and production to maintain supply.
Pick orders and complete required paperwork.
Delivering goods to our offsite shops & warehouses.
Maintain and organise warehouses to a high standard.
Safely drive a fork lift truck to move materials within and between the distillery and warehouses and assist in other warehouse activities as directed.
Safely handle casks in preparation for deliveries/collections and sample taking.
Follow distillery operational policies, procedures and standards, as well as driving rules and regulations.
To maintain a high standard of order and cleanliness in the distillery yard and surrounds.

Preferred Skills:
Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Full, clean driving licence.
Fork lift truck experience.
Attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task.
Physically fit.
Ability to work alone and as part of a team.

Bottling Operative

Job Type: Full-time - Monday to Friday (8.30am – 5.30pm)

Why this role is important:
As a member of the Bottling Department, the Bottling Team Member is responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of the production operation in all areas of the department. The BTM works to ensure Safety and Quality procedures are adhered to and organizational goals are met. Each employee will have the capability and flexibility to run each piece of equipment and perform any role within the Bottling Department.

We are looking for:

An engaged, production inclined individual who is willing to work as a team in a fast-paced environment and preferably with prior experience working on bottling/packaging equipment. Candidates must exhibit a continuous improvement mind set and behaviours. Candidates must also demonstrate behaviours of professionalism, teamwork and leadership.

Desired skills/abilities:
Material handing experience.
Excellent communication skills.
Mechanical aptitude.

Full training will be provided.

Due to our rural location your own transport is necessary.
