To mark the opening of our new whisky distillery we have released just 48 casks for sale to the public. This is the first time we have made casks available for sale since 2016 and is a unique opportunity to be part of an important moment in the history of our distillery.

Choose from three different cask types and then enjoy a yearly sample of your cask as it matures in our bonded warehouse in the Cotswolds. The cost includes up to 10 years of storage, allowing you to choose when to bottle it and the ABV of the final product.

For the Cotswolds cask offer we are offering the following cask types:

200 litre first fill Bourbon casks – these premium American oak barrels are ideal for ageing whisky and impart delicious notes of vanilla, honey and tropical fruits.

225 litre ex-red wine STR (shaved, toasted, recharred) casks – a signature cask of our distillery, these highly active casks give a rich and intense maturation, offering strong notes of toffee, chocolate and red fruits, as well as a beautiful, deep colour

250 litre sherry 2nd fill casks - the finest American and Spanish oak hogsheads, some of which have been seasoned with dry Oloroso sherry and others with sweet Pedro Ximénez. Full of dried fruits, chocolate and a touch of spice

Please read the casks sales brochure for full details. You will be prompted to confirm that you have read and accept the terms and conditions before completing your purchase at the checkout.

Choose from three cask types (first fill Bourbon, ex-red wine STR, or sherry 2nd fill), each with its own character, and receive a yearly sample as your whisky matures in our Cotswolds bonded warehouse. The price covers up to 10 years' storage, giving you full choice over when to bottle and at what ABV.

WHY OWN A CASK?

Owning a whisky cask is about as close as you can get to the heart of what we do. From the moment your spirit goes into oak, it's yours: maturing quietly in our bonded warehouse here in the Cotswolds, developing its own character over time. It's a slower, more personal way to collect whisky, and one you can follow from cask to bottle.

OUR CASK TYPES

We offer three cask types to choose from: 200 litre first-fill Bourbon casks, 225 litre ex-red wine STR casks, and 250 litre sherry casks. Each brings something different to the spirit, from the oak itself to how it was previously used, so the whisky that comes out the other end will taste distinctly of the cask it grew up in. We're happy to talk you through the differences if you're weighing up which to choose.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Your purchase covers the cask and up to 10 years of storage and insurance in our warehouse, so there's nothing more to pay while it matures. When it comes to bottling, you have two options: bottle the whole cask, with duty, VAT and bottling charges applied based on bottle count and strength, or bottle a third of it, in which case there's nothing more to pay except shipping.

YOUR INVOLVEMENT

Buying a cask isn't just a transaction. We make sure you're with us every step of the way. You're welcome to be there when it's filled, or to sign the cask yourself if you'd rather leave your mark than watch the process. Once it's resting, you can request a free 100ml sample from your cask whenever you like, so you can see how it's coming along year on year.

Made In the Cotswolds

The Cotswolds is hugely important to us; in fact, it defines every aspect of our being. We feel extremely lucky to live in one of England's most charming and beloved regions, full of character, romance and history. We try, where possible, to emphasise the rich agricultural bounty of the Cotswolds. The principle things that grow in the Cotswolds are fruits and grains, and these are the building blocks of our flavour profiles.
