Our limited edition Pineau des Charentes Cask Single Malt Whisky is the fifth expression in our Hearts & Crafts collection. This yearly limited edition series celebrates the Arts & Crafts movement which flourished here in the Cotswolds and stood for the importance of traditional craftsmanship - the same values upon which our beautiful rural distillery was built.

We've selected a small parcel of premium French oak ex-red wine casks seasoned with Pineau des Charentes - a wonderful blend of fresh grape juice and Cognac. The sweet notes of this golden aperitif wine are well balanced by the French oak tannins, resulting in wonderfully rich notes of summer berries, almond and baking spices. All bottles come with a limited edition William Morris design presentation tube.

Non-chill filtered. Natural colouring.

CAREFULLY SOURCED INGREDIENTS

Malt: 100% locally grown, traditionally floor malted barley from the Cotswolds.

Yeast: Two complementary varieties - Anchor and Fermentis - to ensure good yields and excellent fruity flavours.

Water: Village water supply - filtered, softened and demineralised before use.

Wood: Premium first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels from Kentucky, made from American white oak (Quercus alba).

Serving SUGGESTIONS

Best enjoyed on it’s own, but we don’t believe in rules when it comes to drinking whisky – sip this neat, over ice, in a cocktail – however you like!

    Made In the Cotswolds

The Cotswolds is hugely important to us; in fact, it defines every aspect of our being. We feel extremely lucky to live in one of England's most charming and beloved regions, full of character, romance and history. We try, where possible, to emphasise the rich agricultural bounty of the Cotswolds. The principle things that grow in the Cotswolds are fruits and grains, and these are the building blocks of our flavour profiles.
