Carefully sourced ingredients
Malt: Odyssey, grown on Cotswolds farms and floor-malted at Warminster Maltings.
Yeast: Two complementary varieties - Anchor and Fermentis - to ensure good yields and excellent fruity flavours.
Water: Village water supply - filtered, softened and demineralised before use.
Wood: Premium first-fill Kentucky ex-Bourbon 200-litre barrels and reconditioned American Oak 225-litre red wine casks that have been shaved, toasted and re-charred.
Select botanicals: Vanilla bitter base, citrus and spice.
Nose: Fresh peach with bitter black tea, cocoa beans and subtle orange citrus fruit.
Palate: Thick velvet mouthfeel. Bitter chocolate matches perfectly with orange marmalade. Floral with a hint of spiced honey and creamy vanilla.
Finish: Slightly bitter finish, with dried fruit and a touch of maple syrup.
Our Cotswolds Whisky Amaro begins with our Single Malt Whisky base, to which we add a blend of select botanicals including vanilla, citrus and spice. Bottled at 40% ABV on-site at the distillery, non-chill filtered.
Best enjoyed at the end of a meal as a digestif, well-chilled or on the rocks. Salute!
