Our ‘Outstanding Natural Spirits’ are inspiring our Head of Mixology - Oliver Morris, to create some amazing new cocktails and reinvent some of the classics too. So pick up a bottle, get ready with your muddler and let Ollie guide you through the world of Cotswolds Distillery cocktails.



BRAMBLE

A contemporary twist on the sweet & sour classic. We have substituted the lemon with fresh lime, as this complements the citrus botanicals in the gin.

INGREDIENTS
  • 50ml Cotswolds Dry Gin
  • 25ml lime juice
  • 12.5ml sugar syrup
  • 12.5ml Crème de mûre
HOW TO CREATE

Place gin, lime & sugar into an ice filled shaker, shake and strain into an Old Fashioned glass filled with crushed ice. Drizzle Crème de mûre through the ice.

EMBELLISH

Fresh blackberries and a wedge of lime.

COTSWOLDS MULE

Our 1616 Barrel Aged Gin has notes of cassia, nutmeg and orange peel, making it a wonderfully festive spirit. We add the King's Ginger liqueur for spice and body, and lime juice for a fresh citrus balance to this botanical mix. The splash of ginger ale will create a cool fresh spice on the palate, or you can top up with ginger beer for fiery depth.

INGREDIENTS
  • 50ml 1616 Barrel Aged Gin
  • 15ml The King's Ginger liqueur
  • 15ml lime juice
  • 8ml Triple sec
  • Top up with ginger ale or ginger beer
HOW TO CREATE

Place the first 4 ingredients into an ice filled shaker, shake and strain into ice filled copper mug & top up with ginger ale – stir & serve.

MAKE THIS COCKTAIL WITH

VELVET ALEXANDER

Silky smooth and creamy, this will bring back memories of what Christmas used to be like. A great balanced cocktail, with the gin cutting through the Advocaat and the sherry creating depth and a hint of nutty flavour.

INGREDIENTS
  • 45ml Cotswolds Dry Gin
  • 45ml Advocaat
  • 20ml Medium-sweet sherry (or Cotswolds Distillery Spirited Sherry)
HOW TO CREATE

Place all the ingredients into an ice filled shaker, shake and fine strain into a chilled Martini glass.

MAKE THIS COCKTAIL WITH

APPLE & BLACKBERRY CRUMBLE

Forget baking! This delicious dessert cocktail showcases sweet and tart autumn delights with a delicious crumble finish.

INGREDIENTS
  • 45ml Cotswolds Dry Gin
  • 8 blackberries
  • 15ml cinnamon Liqueur
  • 12.5ml lime juice
  • 50ml apple Juice
  • 8ml Orgeat (almond syrup)
HOW TO CREATE

Rim the martini glass with oat crumble. Muddle 8 blackberries in the Boston tin, fill with ice and add all the other ingredients. Shake and strain into a martini glass and serve.

MAKE THIS COCKTAIL WITH

HONEYBEE HARVEST

The result of all the bee's hard work! This orchard delight combines sweet fruit with honey flavour and herbal notes from the Krupnik & gin.

INGREDIENTS
  • 50ml Cotswolds Dry Gin
  • 25ml Krupnik Honey Liqueur
  • Bar spoon of local wild honey
  • 15ml lime juice
  • 25ml apple Juice
  • 50ml pear Juice
HOW TO CREATE

Place the ingredients into an ice-filled shaker, shake and strain into ice filled Copa glass & serve.

MAKE THIS COCKTAIL WITH

BITTER PARTY OF 9

Fresh grapefruit draws out the citrus notes of the Cotswolds Dry Gin, complemented by a clean orange sweetness from the Cointreau. Our signature Grapefruit Bitters will balance the two and intensify the flavours of this zingy cocktail.

INGREDIENTS
  • 35ml Cotswolds Dry Gin
  • 35ml Cointreau
  • 35ml fresh grapefruit juice
  • 3 dashes of Cotswolds Grapefruit Bitters
HOW TO CREATE

Place all ingredients except the bitters into an ice-filled shaker, shake and fine strain into a chilled Martini glass. Add dashes of Grapefruit Bitters.

MAKE THIS COCKTAIL WITH

CASK 1849

Mix Cotswolds Single Malt Whisky in a boston tin with the honey, add lemon and maple syrup – add ice and shake. Strain over ice in a beer glass and top up with Hooky Gold. Add 2 x dashes of aromatic bitters.

INGREDIENTS
  • 50ml Cotswolds Single Malt Whisky
  • Hook Norton Brewery ‘Hooky Gold’
  • 25ml lemon juice
  • 15ml maple syrup
  • 2 dashes of aromatic bitters
  • Bar spoon of honey
HOW TO CREATE

Place the ingredients into an ice-filled shaker, shake and strain into ice filled Copa glass & serve.

MAKE THIS COCKTAIL WITH

WHITE LADY

A classic cocktail, which showcases the spices from the Cotswolds Dry Gin and a fresh citrus finish.

INGREDIENTS
  • 50ml Cotswolds Dry Gin
  • 25ml lemon juice
  • 25ml Cointreau
  • 12ml sugar syrup
  • ½ egg white
HOW TO CREATE

Dry-shake all ingredients, add ice to shaker, shake, fine-strain & serve into a chilled martini glass.
