Belonging to our Cask Expressions Collection, our Bourbon Cask Single Malt Whisky is created from select first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels in which our rich and fruity single malt spirit has been patiently matured. These premium American oak barrels are ideal for ageing whisky and impart delicious notes of vanilla and honey. This sweet and malty cask strength expression is a whisky for purists and a wonderful expression of our distillery character.

Vanilla and honeycomb on the nose, giving way to a rich, malty palate of golden syrup and ripe orchard fruit. The finish is long and warming, with a gentle spice and lingering sweetness.
Malt: 100% locally grown, traditionally floor malted barley from the Cotswolds. Yeast: Two complementary varieties - Anchor and Fermentis - to ensure good yields and excellent fruity flavours. Water: Village water supply - filtered, softened and demineralised before use. Wood: Premium first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels from Kentucky, made from American white oak (Quercus alba).

Part of our Cask Expressions Collection, this one is all about the oak. Our rich, fruity spirit is matured in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, which bring layers of vanilla and honey to every sip. Made with 100% local Cotswolds barley, 59.1% ABV.

Grown 15 minutes away at Akeman Street Farm and traditionally floor-malted.

Nothing added

A crisp, zesty highball that lets the warm vanilla and caramel notes of our Bourbon Cask shine through.

You'll need

  • 50ml Bourbon Cask
  • 1/2 lime, freshly squeezed
  • Sparkling water, to top

Method
Fill a highball glass with ice. Squeeze the lime half into the glass and drop it in. Add the bourbon cask whisky and fill with sparkling water. Stir briefly to combine.

Our barley is grown at Akeman Street Farm by Michael Greene, a fifth-generation farmer, in Cotswolds limestone soil. We know the farm, the family and the field where every bottle begins.
