Join us at our distillery in Stourton for our immersive Whisky Blending Masterclass.

Begin your experience with a refreshing Whisky Highball while discovering the story of Cotswolds Distillery and the rich history of whisky. You'll then enjoy a guided tour of our distillery and cask warehouse, where you'll learn how our award-winning single malt whisky is crafted and explore the fascinating role different casks play during maturation.

Following the tour, you'll head to our private mezzanine, where one of our whisky experts will introduce you to the art of nosing whisky before guiding you through a tasting of four cask strength whiskies, each matured in a different cask type. Using these unique flavour profiles, you'll create your own bespoke blended whisky with expert guidance throughout.

To finish, you'll sample a selection of exclusive distillery releases before bottling and labelling your own blend to take home in a presentation box, alongside a 20cl bottle of our award-winning Cotswolds Signature Single Malt Whisky.

We want every guest to enjoy their Whisky Blending Masterclass safely and responsibly.

Throughout the experience, you're welcome to use the spittoons provided during the whisky tastings if you'd prefer not to consume the alcohol while still exploring the aromas and flavour profiles of each whisky.

To get the most from your experience, we recommend arranging transport in advance so everyone in your party can relax and enjoy the afternoon without worrying about the journey home.

Please note that the whiskies sampled during the masterclass are served at cask strength, ranging from 46%–60.4% ABV. While our team are always happy to explain the experience, they are unable to advise on drink-drive limits or whether an individual is safe to drive.

Please note that our Whisky Blending Masterclasses take place on our private mezzanine, which is accessible by stairs only. Unfortunately, this experience is not suitable for wheelchair users or guests who are unable to manage stairs.

Still House Café

Why not arrive a little earlier and enjoy lunch in our Still House Café before your Whisky Blending Masterclass? Serving brunch, lunch and delicious wood-fired pizzas until 3:30pm, it's the perfect way to begin your afternoon at the distillery. During the booking process, you'll have the option to add one of our wood-fired pizzas to your visit.

The Hidden Still

Visiting on a Friday or Saturday during the summer?

Your Whisky Blending Masterclass finishes at 4:30pm, giving you the perfect opportunity to continue your visit at The Hidden Still, our outdoor cocktail bar, open from 5:00pm–9:00pm.

Take in the beautiful Cotswolds countryside while enjoying our award-winning spirits, signature cocktails and seasonal serves. It's the perfect way to round off your afternoon at the distillery.
